Dermalogica UltraCalming - Barrier Repair is a waterless, silicone-based moisturizer that melts gently into sensitized skin to soothe and help repair damage from environmental aggressions. The anti-ozonate complex, including evening primrose oil and emollient silicones, strengthens the skin's natural lipid barrier to prevent future attacks. Also formulated with Dermalogica UltraCalming complex, it is especially ideal for sensitive skin types. Even great for men to reduce irritation after shaving. Ideal for all environmentally aggravated skin conditions.
After cleansing with Dermalogica UltraCalming Cleanser and spritzing with Soothing Protection Spray, apply a small amount of Barrier Repair over face and throat in light, upward strokes. Use twice daily.

I really like the way this moisturizer blends into my skin and does to fee greasy at all. Perfect to use under my bb cream. If you have very dry skin you might need something extra to use as well.

I never travel without it!
I have sensitive dry skin with some rosacea and reactive redness. When I feel flushed, this lightweight gel immediately cuts down redness. It's also the perfect flight companion. I always apply on long flights and I swear it protects my face from all the recirculating air and swelling and other gross plane effects. I've swapped out many products over the years but I am deeply committed to barrier repair!

Another great product from Dermalogica
I have rosacea around my eyes, and I cannot use any Rx medications so close to the eye. I have been using this for about two weeks and can already see the difference. I dab a tiny amount around the irritated area in the morning before applying anything else, and at night before bed. It is expensive, but if you use it selectively on irritated areas, it should last a while.

Amazing at soothing!
I was introduced to this product after reacting to something during a facial. With application I immediately felt relief from the burning sensation I had. This product is so soothing, with a lovely, comforting, silky texture. I don't use it daily but do when I have any irritation. I do not consider this product moisturizing though but I also use heavy moisturizers.
