Dermalogica UltraCalming - UltraCalming Cleanser is extremely gentle face wash that helps promote healing and protection for skin aggravated by environmental influences such as pollution, harsh climate, stress, hormonal changes or cosmetic allergies. Exclusive anti-ozonate complex helps guard against future inflammation. Ideal for all environmentally aggravated skin conditions.
Pour a small amount into the palm of hand. Apply to the face and throat and activate by gently massaging with fingertips in light, upward strokes. Can be rinsed thoroughly with warm water or removed with dry cotton pads. Use twice daily, once in the morning and evening. Follow with Dermalogica's Soothing Protection Spray and Barrier Repair moisturizer.

Gentle and soothing but..
I really wanted to love this product as I have a sensitive/rosacea prone skin type. The product didnt irritate my skin, was soothing, and had little fragrance which I love however, it was not removing my makeup well at all. I tried using the gel after I initlaly rinsed me face as well as when my face was dry and no luck :/

I have really sensitive skin, prone to redness and irritation. I use this every night and sometimes in the morning, especially during the winter it helps with dryness and I can feel it instantly calming and soothing my skin. It has a very subtle lavender fragrance which i like, especially for using at night before bed.

Dermalogica UltraCalming cleanser
This cleanser is great for my sensitive, rosacea prone skin. It feels nourishing and rinses away without leaving my skin feeling stripped. This cleanser has not caused any congestion, which I often find with other gentle cleansers that do not lather. I use it alone, but it would be a great step in a double cleansing routine, especially if you are wearing makeup. This cleanser would be great to use in conjunction with harsher products to minimize and calm irritation. I find that this cleanser causes me to be more mindful in this step of my routine, because it does require a bit more massaging to work the product into my skin if I want a thorough cleanse. The packaging is great, I don't have to worry about it spilling or struggle to open it with wet hands. It has essentially no fragrance which is quite comforting for someone with reactive skin. This is a great, mind cleanser.

My Regimen
By far, the most mild, calming twice a day cleanser I use faithfully. I use this with other Dermalogica Ultracalming skin regimen products and they all work together very well. This one can be used alone, though, when cleansing alone is needed.
