Nothing special
Its just a comb, a fancy one, but just a comb. Works just as well as a 5 dollar drugstore one. It does look very nice though. I love mason pearson in general, but everything is so expensive.

Not great for tangled hair
I love Mason Pearson products and have other brushes and combs that I love. I like this comb for myself when I'm looking to just give a quick comb-through to get rid of any major tangles. However, I bought this comb hoping it would help detangle my young daughter's hair. It did not work well for this purpose. I finally bought a special $4 detangling brush for her and it worked much much better to detangle.

Pretty Enough To Leave In Shower
Combs were never my thing. I've been told to brush out my hair when wet using a comb. Keeping this pretty little thing from Mason Pearson in my shower has me doing just that. It's weight is lovely, I never feel like its a comb going through my hair but more of a pampering treatment perhaps. Buying this has made me actually take the time to comb out my hair!
