Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel is a soap-free, foaming gel designed to thoroughly remove impurities without disturbing the skin's natural moisture balance. Anti-inflammatory balm mint extract soothes inflammation while natural quillaja saponaria gently foams away toxins and deep cleans debris. Astringent lavender extract minimizes the appearance of pores and balances pH levels.
Gently lather a small amount of gel on moistened hands. Apply to dampened face and throat. Rinse with warm water and repeat for professional cleaning results.

Probably better for oily skin
I'm not the best candidate to review a skin cleanser since I only wear a moisturizer and blush on my face. I have normal skin type and I find this gel cleanser drying. My face definitely feels clean after using it. I think this would be a great cleanser for oily skin.

Improved skin balanxe
I’m in my 30s and always considered myself to have oily/combination skin, but now I realize that was largely a result of not using tailored skincare to naturally balance my skin. Since using this cleanser the oil in my face has totally balanced out, no more shine, my skins is more clear, and my skin is now “normal.” The bottle has also lasted a really long time. One of my favorite cleansing gels.
I started with the travel size and liked it so much that I upgraded to the full size. This product gives a luxury cleansing experience and the texture of the gel as well as the smell is pleasant. When I used it I felt like my skin was getting a good cleanse and I recommended it to family members to use as well when they were experiencing acne.

Just OK
Very gentle cleanser but not my favorite. It doesn't do a great job removing sunscreen/makeup at the end of the day (and I do not use a lot of products on my face). If you don't put any product on your face, I can imagine this would make a good everyday cleanser. Right now I'm just using this to cleanse my face in the morning since it's light and doesn't dry my skin. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend this.
