Dermalogica Precleanse is just what you need to wash away makeup, oil and dirt from your skin. This plant-based cleansing oil thoroughly melts layers of excess sebum, sunscreen, waterproof makeup, environmental pollutants and residual skin products that build up during the day. Formulated with conditioning Rice Bran and vitamin E oils, this gentle blend can be used around the eye area to remove even waterproof mascara. Offers a deep cleansing ideal even for the oiliest skin conditions.

Don't use it often
I bought this to go along with the cleansing gel and I don't really use it anymore. It seems to be great as an oil remover for makeup prior to washing your face, I'm just not in makeup that often.

The magic step
I was skeptical when my esthetician recommended a pre-cleanse step. Admittedly, I thought this was a scam to sell more product. I gave this product a try, paired with the superfoliant as the second step and WOW! Pre-cleanse is a rich oil-based cleanser that literally melts away makeup, grime, and face oils. It feels and smells luxurious. With all the makeup stripped off, the second step really helps get my face clean and exfoliated. These two products in tandem mean my face not only feels clean, but isn't dried out, irritated, or overly oily. My nighttime moisturizers feel so much more effective. This is the magic step that made a huge difference in my skin care. I only use this product at night, paired with the dermalogica superfoliant.

good when used alone
I actually use this as only nightly face wash (I do not further cleanse with anything else) and it does the job. It does not leave my skin too oily/ greasy, but it does give it a nice glow and it leaves it feeling moisturized. I love the texture of the product and the smell. I will definitely purchase again.

One of my Favourites
I actually like this cleansing oil a lot. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the smell. Kind of makes me nauseous. Emulsifies well and gets all my spf off! Sometimes the bottle leaks but I just clean it.

Calming Cleanser
This has a ginger smell to it that makes it calming, a good precleanse to use on its own or with the rubber glove that comes with the it (or maybe the travel size). It cleans well, just a little expensive compare to the other oil cleanser.

Great product
I use this prior to cleansing with Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel. It removes ALL my makeup and preps my skin for cleansing. I love, love, love the smell too!

Great Product, just not for me
The product was great for getting oil plugs out, but I don't think it worked well with my skin type(I have oily/combination acne prone skin), I developed a lot of irritation on the lower half of my face. I would recommend slowly introducing it into your routine to make sure that it works well for your face!
