Dermalogica Precleanse is just what you need to wash away makeup, oil and dirt from your skin. This plant-based cleansing oil thoroughly melts layers of excess sebum, sunscreen, waterproof makeup, environmental pollutants and residual skin products that build up during the day. Formulated with conditioning Rice Bran and vitamin E oils, this gentle blend can be used around the eye area to remove even waterproof mascara. Offers a deep cleansing ideal even for the oiliest skin conditions.

Great Product - Love the Scent!
I went to my dermatologist for acne. This is what she suggested that I use to remove my makeup. I bought a bottle in March and I am just finishing up that bottle. A little goes a long way with this product. I love the light, fresh, lemony scent. It goes on oily but when you mix it with water and massage into your skin, it emulsifies and becomes creamier. My skin feels so clean after! I cannot use it to remove eye makeup, though.

I use this every night.
I began using this product to ensure that any makeup was removed before I washed my face. It has an oily feel when it goes on, smells lovely, and goes on nicely. When you rinse, it turns a milky white color and is no longer oily so you know you're removing the precleanse and the other stuff on your face. I always wash afterwards. Before I go to the gym or take a hot bath I will use this to remove my makeup so it won't clog my pores when I sweat.

Excellent for removing make-up!
This lightweight oil is excellent at removing make-up. I'd never used an oil cleanser before as I have very sensitive skin & worried it might clog pores and/or irritate. I've been using it for a month & have had absolutely no problems at all. It leaves my skin very soft, yet feeling cleansed. I follow the Precleanse with the Ultra Calming Cleanser. It doesn't remove eye make-up completely, so I still need to swipe with an eye make-up remover pad.

Good make-up remover but pricey
This cleanser is excellent at removing make-up; even waterproof-- better than makeup remover. But, it is expensive, though a little does go a long way. Definitely needs to be followed by regular gentle cleanser or skin can get a little oily.

Prior to first purchasing I thought that a precleanse was a waste of money, but after two weeks of use I can't imagine not using this as part of my nightly face washing regime.
