Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is a truly unique rice-based enzyme powder that micro-exfoliates dulling debris and instantly leaves the skin noticeably smoother and brighter. The powder formula activates upon contact with water, releasing papain, salicylic acid and rice actives to accelerate cell renewal. Bearberry, aspergillus, grapefruit and licorice evens skin tone. Best Microfoliant on the Market
I formally worked for Estee Lauder. The co. made the famous "Milk Cleansing Grains" which was discontinued in the late 1980's. This product by Demalogica is the next best thing to EL's ! I use it everyday with fantastic results. Buy it today!

My New Daily Exfoliant!
When I bought Dermalogica's thermofoliant, I received this as a gift with purchase. I liked it so much I just ordered it from Dermstore. It's a powder. Put some in your hand, add water, rub your hands together and apply product to your face. It's creamy with tiny beads. Massage into your skin gently, rinse, and you are ready to go. I have 60-year-old skin that needs daily exfoliation, and this is working really well for me. Skin feels soft and is ready for serum and moisturizer.

This product smooths the skin's surface and helps diminish fine lines. I used this product everyday per the instructions and after around 4 weeks I really began to observe the improvement in my skin. I first used the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant when it was given to me as a sample with another purchase. I don't usually use exfoliants as I have very fair, sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin that has been lasered multiple times over the past years (v-beam, and fraxel). I decided to try it as my skin was looking dull (even though I use a Clarisonic skin cleaning brush). I was thinking I needed to find a good esthetician for a professional facial if I couldn't get it to look any better. This exfoliant is very fine, gentle, and foamy. It feels like a silky and gentle cleanser with micro-sized beads that exfoliate. I couldn't believe how it visibly improved my skin texture and appeared to actually even out my skin tone. All that I was expecting was that it may help brighten my skin a bit by sloughing off some dead skin cells. I was so happy with the results that I ordered this product. I highly recommend it. You use it after cleansing your face, and it leaves your skin looking good, clean, and supple, as well as happy-feeling (as opposed to stinging, taught, inflamed, and/or broken-out). This is an excellent product that has made my skin look better than any other quality product that I have used (Obagi, Elta, etc).

A little bit irritating, and texture is no good.
Pros: This product does a good job of exfoliating. Cons: Some granules don't fully dissolve, and I don't like that texture. It is mildly irritating on my sensitive skin, and I find my cheeks are a little bit red after using this product. I won't buy this again. I much prefer AmorePacific's Treatment Enzyme Peel.
