Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is a truly unique rice-based enzyme powder that micro-exfoliates dulling debris and instantly leaves the skin noticeably smoother and brighter. The powder formula activates upon contact with water, releasing papain, salicylic acid and rice actives to accelerate cell renewal. Bearberry, aspergillus, grapefruit and licorice evens skin tone. A soothing blend of green tea, ginkgo and colloidal oatmeal calms inflammation.

Dispense about a half teaspoon of powder into very wet hands, and create a creamy paste by rubbing hands together. Apply to face in circular motions, using care around the eye area. Massage gently for one minute, then rinse off thoroughly.

Not my favorite
This is a decent exfoliating powder but I do not think it is my favorite. It doesn't feel luxurious or silky on the skin and the powder is a little too grainy.

Great, gentle exfoliant
This is great for people with sensitive skin who don't want to dry out or irritate their faces. I use this before bed at night and really using it before I apply toner. It lasts a really long time and is great to help reduce dead skin in winter or just brighten up your face. I even use the small bottle when I travel and it lasts quite a while.

Exfoliates your skin, no damage
I was always hesitant of using exfoliators because I was afraid they will damage my skin. I have sensitive skin I was surprised when my dermatologist recommended this product. Love the texture and the feel on my skin. I use it on my face and neck and love how my skin feels silky soft after. Love it, it gets the job done. The packaging could be more user friendly, but the product is great.

Very Gentle and Nice
I enjoyed this daily facial microfoliant and found that it is gentle enough to use daily. It is great for sensitive skin and does not leave you feeling tight or dry. It is a powder consistency and once a little water is added, it turns into a scrub. However, I prefer a little stronger exfoliate to use 2 to 3 times a week.

Gentle Exfoliant
I use this powder exfoliant every evening following my oil cleanse. I was advised to chemically exfoliate but i love the feeling of some abrasion to slough off dead skin from my face. This product is incredibly gentle-not like any exfoliant I've ever used - and it does not irritate my skin. It comes as a powder that you put in wet hands then use as a scrub. my skin feels soft and clean afterwards - never dry. It rinses away well and prepares my skin for my night time serums. This is important, as serums are the most expensive part of my routine and I want them to be used as effectively as possible. I should note-while my skin can be sensitive, I do get microdermabrasion and so for me this feels like a very gentle cleanse. I don't know if that would be true for someone with very sensitive skin.

Great Exfoliant!
I had a facial and this was used on me so I tried it out and love it. I like the fact that I can use it daily, mainly at night after I remove makeup to make sure I remove all the makeup residue that is left. I even bought the travel size, which comes very handy.

I have been on the hunt for great exfoliant that doesn't dry out my skin and have finally found it. Never used a powder that has to be mixed with water before, but a little goes along way. After the first time i used it. My skin felt refreshed, smooth and radiant. I suggest using the Sound Sleep Cocoon right after exfoliating. By the morning, you will see the difference.
