Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is a truly unique rice-based enzyme powder that micro-exfoliates dulling debris and instantly leaves the skin noticeably smoother and brighter. The powder formula activates upon contact with water, releasing papain, salicylic acid and rice actives to accelerate cell renewal. Bearberry, aspergillus, grapefruit and licorice evens skin tone. A soothing blend of green tea, ginkgo and colloidal oatmeal calms inflammation.

I originally purchased this as part of a Dermalogica "special value" holiday kit, and my only regret is that I didn't purchase several more. This product is great - I always use it as part of my cleansing routine. When I'm short on time, I mix it with my Dermalogica cleanser, which is one of my favorite hacks.

Great for sensitive skin
This was recommended to me. I bought it and took it home and was so impressed with how it worked with my typically sensitive skin. The foaming action when it is rubbed on the face with water is soothing and feels so good.

Strange smell, broke me out
I only used this product once or twice and it caused my perioral dermatitis to flare up terribly. The smell, as other reviewers have mentioned, is akin to baby vomit. It is musty and vile and is difficult to overcome. Definitely does not smell like something you should be putting on your face. So expensive also! Im pretty disappointed with this product. I would say if you have even a glimmer of sensitivity in your complexion, you should avoid this product. I gave two stars because the areas of my face that are not sensitive, my cheeks and forehead, were very soft and smooth after using this exfoliant. Beyond that fact it is still not worth enduring the smell.

Decent powder cleanser
This powder cleanser doesnt irritate my sensitive skin altho I dont use it daily. A little goes a long way, a bottle would last forever. I like how smooth my skin feel after using this.

I love how smooth this makes my skin and it doesn't aggravate my sensitive skin. I use this 2-3 times a week after I wash my face first then put about a quarter size amount on my fingertips and sprinkle a little water on top to make it like a paste and rub it all over my face and rinse

Picky skin loves this
My skin is highly sensitive - will itch in spots that I merely touch with clean hands - and exfoliation seems like a scary task with skin like this. However, this product has proven to be gentle without compromising effectiveness - the glow is so noticeable! If I do not use this, skin will have visible flakes after showering, even with moisturizer. I use 1-3x weekly to avoid over-exfoliating and that seems to be plenty.
