Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is a truly unique rice-based enzyme powder that micro-exfoliates dulling debris and instantly leaves the skin noticeably smoother and brighter. The powder formula activates upon contact with water, releasing papain, salicylic acid and rice actives to accelerate cell renewal. Bearberry, aspergillus, grapefruit and licorice evens skin tone. One of my favorites for years
I first discovered Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant years ago when I had a spa facial - a gift from my husband; a rare treat for me. My skin felt so wonderful afterwards! I asked the person who gave me the facial - What one product did you just use on me would make the greatest difference if I purchased it and used it at home? This is the product she recommended, and I've been using it ever since. Even though it says "daily," I usually only use it 2-3 times a week - whenever my skin starts to feel like it needs a more thorough cleaning - my skin feels smooth and clear afterwards! My skin is sensitive, by which I mean that some products are too rough for me, and that I'm allergic to many skin products, and this exfoliator works in that it's not too rough and that I don't have an allergic reaction to it... sadly, I do have an allergic reaction to almost all other Dermalogica products. Yes, it's expensive, but, for me, it lasts a long time. A great product!

This is simply amazing
This is the physical exfoliant I needed! Not too rough, but still feels like the job is getting done. I would work on the packing though, it is very vulnerable to spillage or getting wet in the shower!

Definitely seeing results
I love this! The texture is different than your typical exfoliant, it's much gentler and it dissipates pretty quickly - I can only manage about 20 seconds of light scrubbing and then it's more of a forced pushing around of residue. However, my skin feels SO soft after using this product. It even looked brighter after just one use. I think you do need to use it daily to maintain that effect, but a little goes a long way! Curious to see how long the bottle lasts, as it is pretty $$ but worth it so far. I've never had face-softness last this long with any other exfoliant.

This is the first powder formula microfoliant I have used. It is simple to make into a paste with a few drops of H2O and apply. A little goes a long way, and my skin (face & neck) is brighter and smoother after just 1-week (used every other day). Will continue to use this product!

Great, gentle exfoliation
recommended product for my blackheads and blemishes. I like that the powder is extremely finely milled and gentle on the skin. This is definitely not the harsh, painful apricot scrub of years past when I didn't know any better! I use this weekly. The only reason I would not give it a full 5 stars is because I do worry about inhaling the product sometimes. I would be careful when depositing the product in your hands, and keep the bottle out of the shower when you're not using it.

MY DAUGHTERS FAVORITE

A staple in the rotation
I have very dry skin, so using this every day is a bit too drying for me, but I do use this at least once or twice a week. It does a great job of taking care of flakes and some (but not all) pore congestion, though there are other products that may be better if you need a stronger exfoliant. At least with this one, it's hard to overdo it. I expect to keep buying this one indefinitely.
