Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is a truly unique rice-based enzyme powder that micro-exfoliates dulling debris and instantly leaves the skin noticeably smoother and brighter. The powder formula activates upon contact with water, releasing papain, salicylic acid and rice actives to accelerate cell renewal. Bearberry, aspergillus, grapefruit and licorice evens skin tone. The best exfoliant
I use this daily. It is not abrasive but it effectively exfoliates and leaves my skin soft. I use it on my face, neck and chest and I love it! It is pricey but I think it's worth it because it lasts a long time. It's easy to use and not messy once you get used to it. Just don't get water inside the bottle! I keep it tightly capped and it stays fresh and works wonders.

It does exfoliate, but also irritates
I really wanted to love this. Initially I really did, it did a great job at exfoliating and my skin felt so soft. They say you can use this everyday, but I'm not too sure how good it is to use this everyday. Eventually, my skin became too stripped and was getting dry patches and my skin felt really dehydrated, as well as I started to get new breakouts daily. So overall, it did exfoliate and make my skin soft in the beginning, but after a while it was just too rough on my skin personally.

Excellent Exfoliant!
I have tried many exfoliants over the years and found this daily microfoliant to be extremely good. It's gentle, yet removes the dead skin cells and makeup effectively. There are no harsh "beads" that can tear skin. I like the fact that it has papaya in it which helps diminish age spots. Great product!

So glad I tried it
I have extremely sensitive, dry, reactive, over 40 skin. Most things irritate my skin. I don't like physical exfoliants as they are typically too harsh for my skin, but I can't tolerate most chemical exfoliants either. I have tried Tatcha's rice exfoliant but it didn't do much for me. I can't explain what made me try this, perhaps a sample? I had it in my drawer for quite a while but we moved to a much dryer climate and I noticed my skin getting dryer and it needed exfoliating. I reached for this and noticed how soft my skin felt after use. I used it once a week, then went to two, and now I use it every night. The important thing is to add enough water, otherwise it will feel too rough because the granules haven't had a chance to dissolve. My skin is less reactive, redness has lessened, and it's smoother overall.
