Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is a truly unique rice-based enzyme powder that micro-exfoliates dulling debris and instantly leaves the skin noticeably smoother and brighter. Why Use Anything Else
I have been using this product for twenty years. Why use anything else?! I have tried other products, always returning to this. I'm now a long-time loyal fan. A little awkward in the shower
I like this as a gentle exfoliant but because it's a powder and needs to be kept dry, it's just a little awkward to use in the shower. Otherwise I like it.

Not There Yet
I'm trying to get the hang of this exfoliant and I'm not quite there. I purchased it to retexturize my cheeks in particular, and so far I've been having two issues; 1) making the "creamy paste" on "very wet hands" as described in the directions, and 2) integrating this step into my existing routine. 1) I don't know if it's me, the water, or what, but I've not been able to get a creamy paste. I'm not even sure I know what to look for at this point. The exfoliant is cooling and soothing as it claims, though. That leads to point #2. 2) I have not used this product daily. I tried using it during my morning routine but that's a no because of the time it adds to my morning. That relegates it to nighttime, when I just want to get to bed. It feels like one too many steps in my routine, considering the serums and cream I use. And since I'm not using it consistently, I'm not getting results. I did not notice smoother, brighter skin instantly as claimed.

Unexpected love
This product has been recommended by a few estheticians on youtube. I've never been that attracted to Dermalogica products, but when I saw Dermstore had a holiday set for a really good price, I decided to take the plunge. I use this after cleansing with both the precleanse oil, and the special cleansing gel, and I really like all three! I like that the fragrance is minimal and the exfoliation is gentle. I wasn't expecting to like this product as much as I have!
