Subtle Holy Grail
This is not a flashy product, but it is effective once you start using it consistently. I use it after my toners and before I moisturize. Overtime, I notice that my skin was hydrated and smoother. It feels really nice on the skin and soothes it when irritated. Been using it for years and do not plan on stopping.

Soothing and healing
This essence is slightly sticky and takes a moment to dry. However, it absorbs well and truly moisturizes and soothes the skin. I noticed both PIH and PIE healing faster when using this product.

Had a bad reaction
Update: I tried and tried and tried, but I think I'm allergic to this product in particular, I'm so bummed! This came highly recommended so I tried it with 2 other products for blackheads and whiteheads from the same line. It's fragrance free, slimy but absorbs quickly. It would be a 4-5 Star product other than the reaction I had. Whenever I use it on my whole face, I get several big Whitehead's around both sides of my nose. Moderately painful, and when I extract them, the discharge is so stinky like fish (absolutely disgusting, but since you're considering buying, I'm going to give details). I have NEVER had a reaction like this to anything. I stopped using it, started again, same thing. I was hoping to smooth directly under my eyes on the cheeks where I have large pores, but it's too close to the areas that break out in pimples. I will only be using this around the eyes for fine lines (update, I couldn't even use it there!!) I can't deal with the reaction. It's very smoothing and hydrating. Wish it worked on my whole face!

Subtly Effective
When I first heard about snail mucin in skincare products, I was grossed out but still really intrigued, so I opted to try out this essence. I didn't have any problems with it, but I didn't think it was doing much for my skin and stopped using it after two months. When I came back to it after another couple of months, I immediately started seeing that it was in fact improving my skin. For overall brightness and evening out skin tone, you're going to see subtle improvement over time. It's not an instant gratification product, overall. But when it comes to healing acne (especially if you're like me and can't help yourself & pick at it), this is where it really shines. Any wounds heal much faster, with huge improvements in redness and scarring. There's no scent, which is nice. It does have a slightly sticky texture, but I've never found it to be as tacky as some other people have. I actually think the stickiness helps it spread easier across my face. Plus, it absorbs quickly.

I added this to my skincare regimen less than two weeks ago, and I can already see dramatic improvement in fine lines! My face is more hydrated! And when I use a dab of this on a pimple (on top of my daily/nightly regimen), the pimple clears overnight! Everyone can benefit from adding this little gem to their skincare! Con: it's a little sticky. My trick: let it soak in (which it does easily) and then apply your lotion before it dries entirely. You'll be able to take advantage of still-moist skin (to increase absorbtion) and less sticky surface!
