Calming and Moisture-locking
This essence has moisture-magnet properties from the hyaluronic acid but one-ups the standard HA drops due to the snail mucin! Compared to The Ordinary. Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 it is thinner and less sticky but does take more time to sink in. And you'll still need to apply it while your face is damp. Unlike plain hyaluronic acid, this decreases the redness on my cheeks (from rosacea and dry skin) and goes under foundation without causing it to pill or slip.

I don't get it
I have been using this product for a little over 3 weeks now, and I just don't get it. The consistency is nice and I can see this feeling really good on my face during the summer if I put in the refrigerator. It sinks right in my skin but I haven't noticed any real hydration benefits, or anything else. My PIH scars have not lightened. No boost in elasticity or evenness of skin tone. Maybe I haven't been using it long enough? I purchased this and the embryolisse moisturizer so I am unsure of which product is causing blackheads everywhere. I will continue to use it a bit longer but I am just not a fan of it.
