Terrible Reaction to this Product
I do not understand the hype around this product. Within an hour of applying this to my face I broke out everywhere. I read online that anyone with dust mite allergies is also likely allergic to snail essence - beware! This should come with a warning to that effect. Aside from that, the texture of this product is really not ideal - super tacky and sticky.

Very good but not great
In full disclosure: I use this more as a serum than an essence. It's far too thick as an essence for my skin, but it makes for a great hydrating serum to use as a base. I use it most often at night as a buffer before tretinoin, but have also used it as a "carrier serum" for more water serums like the NIOD CAIS2. I would say it's not quite as good as some of the offerings from Mizon, but we're talking about the difference between amazing and slightly less amazing, really. I will continue to repurchase it, though, as it works well in my nightly routine.

Great with Serum
A friend of mine recommended this product and I let it sit in my cart for awhile before actually buying it. I thought I didn't want to pay that much and not love it. But when I pair it with my nighttime routine, which is after washing and toning and before a serum, it really makes a difference. I use it almost every night and I have barely made a dent in the amount of product left so it was certainly worth the price.

Works well in routine
I purchased this at the recommendation of an aesthetician family member for locking in moisture for my dry winter skin and I am not disappointed. My initial worry (you know.. because snails) was of a gross smell or feel but there was none! The product is very slippery and one pump goes a looong way! I would purchase again.
