UNITE Hair's BLONDA Toning Shampoo is designed to lighten and brighten blonde and highlighted hair. Formulated to gently cleanse and purify, this toning shampoo neutralizes brassiness while protecting, restoring and adding shine to hair.

Grape expectations - Part 1
I have tried a variety of purple toning shampoos because my dyed blonde hair tends to turn golden between salon visits. This shampoo + the conditioner seem to do a good job with toning, but the smell is too much. As a kid, grape lollipops were one of my favorites, but I don't want to smell like one. I also found the products to be less moisturizing than I need. I will used up what I have, but I mix the shampoo with others to boost moisture and cut the smell, and that seems to work well.

This really helps with brassiness that tends to creep in towards the end of summer. Lathers well with just a moderate amount of shampoo. I used it 1xweek and follow with a deep conditioner.

Results after one use
I used this product last night for the first time. Followed instructions and left it on for 1 minute before washing out. I wish I could post a before and after picture because I have immediate results!! I followed it with a high moisture conditioner and some leave in products. My hair feels so soft and looks amazing!! So much so that my boyfriend asked me if I got my hair done. And we know guys typically don't notice changes in hair. Definitely will be keeping this product on my shelf and reordering when I run out!

I DO like the smell
I do like the smell of toning shampoos, and I think the smell is similar to others I have used. My hair usually gets more brassy and lifeless when I'm ready to get it done again. I could tell a difference using this shampoo once- I haven't used it in a good week, though I am ready to use it again. It does a good job toning my brassiness.

SO good minus the smell
Love this shampoo for getting the brassiness out of my blonde BUT for some reason they chose a cough syrupy grape as the scent and I personally don't like it, plus the scent lingers in my hair for a while. I wish they would've chosen a honeysuckle scent like the U oil. If you can get past the scent you'll be happy with your icey blonde.
