I’ve been using this eyebrow pen for two years and its become my HG for filling in my sparse brows. To get the best results and longest wear here are some tips I recommend: 1) Eyebrows must be clean, dry and free of product. After applying my daily skincare products (serum, moisturizer, sunscreen etc) I use either a damp q-tip or a wet corner of a washcloth to wipe off my brows so they’re free of product. This brow pen adheres best and lasts forever this way. 2) Store the pen upright with the cap facing down (e.g. I keep it in my makeup brush holder cup). This keeps the tip moist at all times so it’s ready to apply. 3) For a natural look try using two colors. I use both the Light and Medium to fill in and the blend of shades looks more natural (and less flat).

Stila waterproof brow color

My go-to brow pen for natural look
I prefer natural-looking brows, and this pen has been my favorite for years. I use Medium, which is a cool-toned brown/taupe. Perfect with my silver hair, as there is NO warmth in the Medium shade. I use this for the sole purpose of adding realistic-looking, individual brow hairs. It takes a little practice to know that you just have to use the smallest amount of pressure, or your lines will be too heavy. It's really very easy, and I love that I can have the full, natural brows that I've always wanted.

Has potential...
There's another well known brow pen that you flick on that I love but wish they had a lighter color in. I thought this was the perfect solution but it ended up not working as well for me. Didn't give me the precise hair strokes I was after and had to apply after the first few applications.

It's very different than other brow products. It's very very light. I guess that's good because it looks more natural but it takes longer to apply because I have to keep layering it on to show up. The medium is a gray color and good for black hair. I would recommend this for people with dry skin. I can't use powder or brow gel because it picks up my dry skin but this product works for me.

Hard to find color match
I have black hair and medium worked the best for me. It's comes out as a gray. I have black hair and this was the best color match. Surprising more so than the browns (too warm). Dark was way too dark for me. It's a felt pen with a very thin tip to help you draw on the hairs. It works very well for drawing in the tail of the brow. I really like this but I wouldn't say it's a game changer and it's also easy to mess up. You can end up with very heavy brows if you over draw. I would recommend it if you like defined brows or want to add additional fine hair strokes.
