What is Omega 3

Healthy fats are an essential to any diet. These fats are termed unsaturated fats and come in the form of omega-6 and omega-3. These two fats should be consumed in an equal ratio, but currently omega-6 intakes are very high with Omega-3 intakes being well below recommendations. Omega 3 contains the essential fatty acids EPA and DHA that must be consumed through dietary sources such as fatty fish like salmon and sardines. The Myprotein Omega 3 contains both EPA and DHA, 18% and 12% respectively.

Omega 3 contains 360mg EPA and 240mg DHA in each serving, therefore delivering an adequate intake of omega-3 to your diet.
