The sunscreen goes on smoothly and I'm able to put my foundation on right away without any pilling or flaking. I'm skeptical of it only being SPF 35, but time out in the sun will tell.

I'm not sure what is in this product that irritated my skin but I had to send it back. I do have really sensitive skin, so if you don't, you may love this. It just didn't work for me. One use and my face was red and bumpy. I appreciate being able to return it. PCA weightless SPF works better for me.

Favorite sunscreen
This is the best everyday mineral sunscreen I've found. It looks great on its own or under makeup. I also find that it works very well as a moisturizer for my oily skin. It's just the right consistency. Another plus is that it only has a very faint, non-offensive fragrance. I'd like to wear something with a slightly higher SPF, but I stick with this one because everything else about it is so great!!

good for sensitive skin
Apparently I now have sensitive skin. I recently developed a horrible rash from an 'all natural' brand of sunblock and face oil. When I had to be out in the sun, this SkinMedica product was one of the few I could put on my rash without irritating it. The rash went away about a week after I stopped using the other products. I will continue to use the SkinMedica sunshield. It leaves me a little white, but I do layer it on pretty heavily. I find if I put it on in the morning, it lasts all day. It seems to form a layer over your skin that actually takes some effort to get off. I use soap and an exfoliator to get it off at the end of the day.

Love love love this SPF
This is my go to SPF. My one and only. In the summer, I love to be outside working in the yard all day long, but am very careful to keep my facial skin well protected. This SPF has never left me down. With a hat and this SPF, my facial skin has never gotten sunburned. I do apply regularly throughout the day just to play it safe. I have problems with SPF bothering my eyes, making them water and burn. I have never experienced that issue with this one. Besides this superior protection during the times of hours outdoors, this SPF is also my favorite for everyday under my makeup. It applies easily, absorbs into the skin and acts like a primer for my foundation. I have experimented with other SPF's, buying those sample kits of various SPF, but nothing compares to this one.
