Can’t live without
I’ve been using SkinCeuticals retinol for years. I think it’s better than Prescription . I’ve never had any irritation. At a recent wedding, the young bride took her friends aside and pointed to me and said this is why you should start using retinol early. When she told them my age, they all gasped.

Strong but gentle
I’ve been using this retinol for a while now & I like that it has a high percentage of retinol but doesn’t irritate my skin. I only use it about 3 times a week, because I alternate products that I use. But I could probably use more often without a problem.

Good retinol- very strong use with care
This was the first retinol. I tried after using prescription Retin-A for many years – I found it to be very good with excellent results. You have to be very careful to only applied at night because it’s quite intense.

Thumbs up!
I really like SkinCeuticals Retinol 1.0 Maximum Strength Refining Night Cream because it's made with pure retinol cream. I also like that this product is non-comedogenic, paraben-free, and fragrance-free. I use this product on an as-needed basis to reduce blemishes, and it works beautifully.

Repurchased
I’ve repurchased this a few times. Seems to work well in combination with my other skin care. My skin is clearer now than it has been in the past so I’m sticking with it.

The best
I've tried many different high potency retinol over the years. Right now I'm finishing up a bottle of Sunday Riley, which I like a lot, and I also have a bottle of a Kat Burki Vit C and Retinol serum. The verdict is out on that. I've already decided that I am going to repurchase Skinceuticals once I finish the Sunday Riley. I know my skin tolerates it well and that it works. I may alternate with the Kat Burki every other day to make it last longer and to continue getting retinol and vitamin C benefits daily. I have to say that having both in one formula is convenient, but in terms of effectiveness Skinsceuticals wins. One small issue - I wish it came in a pump or some other delivery mechanism, as the metal tube can easily burst if you're not careful.

Best Retinol
I have tried many retinols over the years are while I saw some improvement with many of them SkinCeuticals is by far the best. As a long-time retinol user, the maximum strength has not irritated my skin at all, and I have seen significant improvement in my fine lines and improved elasticity. I have been using SkinCeuticals retinol and their CE Ferlic acid serum for about 8 years and swear by these products especially in conjunction with each other. At 46 my skin glows despite the fact I did not start taking care of my skin until I was in my early 30s. So glad I tried SkinCeuticals despite the high price tag as their products are worth it.

Great product
Just upgraded from .5 to 1. Great product. Skin feels smooth, luminous and healthy. Some redness initially but it went away within first few days. Highly recommend.

Great product for cellular turnover
A little goes a long way, and it really works! I use it maybe twice a week because my skin can get itchy from it. After a few days I notice a little flaking, but the Skin Ceuticals Micro-Exfoliating Scrub and a little DIY dermaplaning takes care of that, and my face looks polished and younger. Do what they advise, though, and avoid prolonged sun exposure while using, and always wear sunscreen.
