C + AHA from SkinCeuticals is an antioxidant-rich treatment that works to diminish and prevent visible signs of aging. A 15% concentration of L-ascorbic acid works to prevent UVA and UVB damage while boosting collagen production. A 10% blend of hydroxy acids sloughs away dead, dull skin cells and diminishes fine lines and wrinkles, revealing smoother, brighter and suppler skin. With regular use, the skin takes on a healthier and more youthful appearance.
Key Ingredients:
- 15% L-Ascorbic Acid: this highly potent form of pure vitamin C helps neutralize free radicals and helps protects against oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits
- Glycolic and Lactic Acids: this blend of 10% alpha-hydroxy acids provides an exfoliating effect that helps minimize blemishes, improve skin texture, and increase radiance for healthy, clear skin
Key Benefits:
- Neutralizes damaging free radicals caused by environmental aggressors
- Exfoliates dry, dull surface cells to help improve the appearance of blemishes and skin texture
- Paraben-, fragrance-, alcohol-, and dye-free
- Ideal for normal, combination, and oily skin types
Once in the morning after cleansing, apply 4-5 drops to a dry face, neck and chest. Follow with SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Gel and a SkinCeuticals moisturizer and sunscreen.

SkinCeuticals C + AHA
I use this each morning after cleansing and toning, following with a moisturizer. The serum is a thin liquid and 3 to 4 drops covers my whole face/neck and dries quickly. It does have a smell that goes away upon drying and there is a mild stinging sensation with use. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and bright!

SkinCeuticals C AHA is the BEST vitamin C serum. It has helped with my mild age spots. I love, love, love this product. I hope SkinCeuticals continues making this formula, it is simply the best!!!

Light and absorbs well
I typically use the CE Ferulic, but I like how much lighter this feels on my skin. It absorbs better and doesn't leave any sort of tacky residue, but it does sting for the first few minutes after application

Hydrating
I like how hydrated my skin feels after using this product ! I use the Skinceuticals HA intensifier along with this and it’s def reduced my fine lines around my eyes and gives them a softer more youthful glow.

SkinCeuticals C AHA vs. CE Ferulic
I was consistently using CE + Ferulic, but recently noticed breakouts and did some experimenting with my skincare routine. So I switched to the C AHA formula and like it better — much lighter consistency, especially for humid and summer weather. Skinceuticals is such a good brand and they hardly ever disappoint. Yes, their products are a bit pricey, but if you want radiant, smooth, and better skin, consider it an investment to fight acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, and uneven texture.

I like it better than CE + Ferulic
I was consistently using CE + Ferulic, but recently had noticed blackheads forming from the antioxidants oxidizing in my pores (I think that was the reason anyway). So I switched to the C AHA formula. I like it better. The AHAs resurface my skin nicely, making it smoother and blackhead-free. Also I would usually have dry flaky skin due to use of my Retin-A, but this formula resolved that. I have sensitive skin so I let my skin get used to it first by using sparingly every few days, then increasing use to daily. My skin is tolerating it well. I recommend.

A must have
I started using this in place of the CE Ferulic and to increase cell turnover for oilier skin.

C+AHA vs CE ferulic
Both are 5-star products delivering similar results. CE ferulic has a thicker, more viscous consistency than the C+AHA (likely due to the vitamin E). Considering that, C+AHA is better for oily/combo skin while CE ferulic is better for dry/combo skin. I like CE ferulic in the winter and C+AHA in the summer.

Love
I love this vitamin c. It goes on very smoothly the only complaint I would have is that it smells funky and the smell is pretty strong but it does dissipate over time once on your face.
