Uniquely designed just for those with wavy, curly tresses, the DevaCurl Ultra Defining Gel delivers a firm hold and moisture protection to intensify your locks. This ultra-hold, moisturizing gel molds to the hair and creates a moisture-protective barrier ("Curl Cast") that sets curls while preventing frizz. Made with hair-loving oat, soy and wheat amino acid extracts, this nourishing gel dissolves quickly when applied to wet hair. The result: bouncy, beautiful and entirely covetable curls.

Tilt head forward. Scrunch curls in an upward motion to release excess water weight. Apply gel between palms and glide across hair before scrunching upward. Using the DevaTowel, scrunch again toward scalp to define curls.
Once applied and scrunched, it is advised to not touch the hair to allow the Curl Cast to form while drying. For added volume, dry with the DevaFuser. Once dry, shake at the root and gently scrunch upward to soften the firm cast to reveal bouncy, soft, crunch-free curls.

Not my favorite gel
This product gave me a lot of frizz. It has quite a bit of protein and creates protein overload leading to frizzy wiry curls. I've tried much cheaper drugstore brands I've liked much better.

Good gel curling product
I normally don't like gel products for my hair, but I found that a lot of cream products for curling feel heavy. This is more lightweight and really holds in your curls. I use this on days when I get out of the shower and put this in my hair for something quick. I usually let my hair air dry instead of with a hair dryer. Overall good product.
