One of the gentlest SA products around.
I had trouble using other SA products, even Paula's Choice. I didn't think I could use an SA leave on until I tried this one. It's gentle but effective and doesn't burn, sting, leave redness or irritation. It's one of the few I can use and not feel irritation with. It is a heavier formula, a bit like the standard Cerave in the tub. It may be a bit heavy for some people. It works well on dry skin on other areas of the body (hands, feet) due to the SA in it. It's quite rich, a little goes a long way and it will last longer than you think.

Thick creme for bumpy skin
This has a really thick consistency. Great for the body (legs, arms, back) but be careful on the face if you have oily skin. It works though. With consistent use, it works.

Best cream for dry areas
This is the best cream for feet, elbow, hand, tooshie (you know the area when you sit for too long and seems to dry out and wore out the border). Just everywhere that need some extra protection and smoothing.

I feel neutral about this
I admittedly don't have KP, but I do get ingrown hairs and don't take care of the skin on my body as much as my face. So I thought I would use this as a new step in my body exfoliation routine. I didn't notice much of a difference in the texture of my skin, and I don't think it stopped any ingrown hairs. It was a nice moisturizing product though. I do wish it came in a pump bottle, it's annoying because I keep the jar in the shower and water gets into the product.

keeps roughness at bay
I love this cream for KP and ingrown hairs- like anything, it's not going to be 100% effective, but with time and patience and consistent use, you'll see a difference. I like this cream version more than the lotion formula, since it's thicker and seems to be a bit more effective. Definitely recommend if you have fussy skin like I do, with lots of bumps!
