Works decently but doesn't last
It takes time, but you can gently remove makeup with this, and I like that you don't need to use a chemical makeup remover so you can use this on your waterline/tightline to really get the last of mascara off. I've just found that it's become so hard to get the makeup off the mitt over time and using it feels like more of a hassle than it's worth

Good but wears out quickly
It is best to use with just water and use with gentle pressure to remove. It's good for light makeup removal but you will need something stronger for waterproof makeup.

I don't know how, but this really removes makeup with just water. This little guy has been around long before makeup erasers and such gained popularity. Wonderful and gentle on skin would highly recommend!

not sure - disappointed by service
I didn't end up trying this product. I ordered this with a promotion that if you ordered $50 worth from Jane Iredale, you would get a free blush. This mitt is not something I would normally try because I don't like the idea of having to wash it or the possibility of bacteria (even though it is designed to protect that from happening), but I thought it might be fun and worth $15 if I got that and the blush. The blush showed up in my cart and even showed up in the order summary when I received the package. However, it was not in there. When I reached out to customer service, they said that the gift is limited to while supplies last. I'm familiar with that concept, but typically, with other companies that sell online, they remove the gift as an option when there is no more supply. The customer service person gave me 500 Dermstore points (worth $5, which is not the same as the $30 blush that I was excited to try). I typically love ordering from Dermstore, but my loyalty is challenged by this.

Eyelash Extension Retention 101
I absolutely love this mitt. I got it as a freebie from my local skin spa after making a minimum purchase on products. I honestly paid no to attention to it being Jane Iredale until I came across this page while shopping the sale. I typically use a Cetaphil Facial Cleansing Wipe to remove my make up prior to washing my face since just because I think it makes make up removal less of a hassle/messy. I used to splash water on my face/wash my face in the shower, but I hate how the weight of the water felt on my eyelash extensions. I switched to using the mitt to wet my face and remove my cleanser, and I. Love. It. My skin spa has been sold out of this mitt. So happy I can buy it here! I've tried many alternatives, and nothing compares. Most don't hold enough water which makes it rough on your skin. Other's absorb the cleanser too much and are difficult to keep clean.
