Overpriced
My skin was going through a rough patch so I decided to splurge on this routine to see if my skin could improve. I completely forgot that benzyl peroxide wash ruins linens and additionally, has absolutely destroyed the moisture barrier of my skin. My skin has been so dry and yet after three weeks of use has not quelled my acne breakouts. The only thing I would consider repurchasing is the moisturizer which is lightweight and absorbs into the skin easily/layers under makeup.! However I only use it during the day since at night I want thicker moisture to counteract the dryness of the BPO wash. The retinol treatment smells weird and has chunks in it I don’t like. I will be switching to rx Tretinoin.

Haven’t had a breakout in months
I have this acne control regimen plus the smoothing toner and I am so amazed by these products!! I’m 28 and I have acne prone combination skin. Before I tried PCA, I had pretty much accepted the fact that I would have regular breakouts and never have clear skin, even if I used the expensive products. I have literally not had a single breakout since I started using their wash/toner/moisturizer. I haven’t even had to use much of the gel! I can’t say much about the retinol because I’m terrible about using that regularly like I’m supposed to. But I can say anyone with frustrating adult acne should absolutely invest in this :)

For when you just need a product that WORKS
I moved to a humid region in summer and my combo skin + adult acne went wild. This kit began drying up my acne almost immediately and I woke up with a glow the first morning! After 3 weeks my acne is gone and my texture is smoother and softer and pores are smaller. The first week I alternated days. I did use the acne gel all over because, well I had acne everywhere and the tiny tube ran out pretty quickly. As the humidity drops I will sub a richer moisturizer, and reduce to alternating days.

Perfect for hormonal acne
This set is an incredible value considering the brand and full-sized products - way more cost effective than buying each individually. It takes about a month (like all skincare) to really start to work...but when it kicks in it WORKS. I actually stopped using it for about 2 months just to be 100% sure it was the regimen that made such a difference....and by the 7th weeks my breakouts slowly started coming back. Started the regimen again and it cleared everything up. Like all acne-based products it's super important to moisturize, drink lots of water, and use an abundant amount of sunscreen. Dryness and flaking just comes with the territory when you are getting started - but try to keep at it for a month and you will see results. Love this line and almost everything PCA puts out.

I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS REGIMEN ENOUGH. I started using this kit in April 2020 and within 2 weeks I started to see results. I have not had a true breakout since and my skin has never looked better. If you are looking to clear up your acne, stop scrolling and look no further. I promise you!

Only ordered this line because skinceuticals was sold out and I see aestheticians rave about this line all the time. All of these products are super sticky on the skin when I first applied them and then they dry and they left a scaley dryness all over my face that peeled off constantly. My skin was like a Saharan desert underneath that dry film so it never absorbed into my skin, it just made my acne, dryness and fine lines 10x worse.
