Love this.
This is my holy grail cleanser. I have dry sensitive skin and this is the only cleanser that will take my sunscreen off at the end of the day and effectively clean my face without irritating it and breaking me out. It is a very simple / no frills cleanser and I love it. If they ever discontinue this product I will cry.

It's decent.
I was expecting this scrub to be much more effective in smoothing my skins texture, but unfortunately the jojoba beads are simply too large to do much more than massage my face. I use this scrub more like a facewash than a *scrub*. It foams nicely, removes makeup, and does smooth a little bit. I was hoping for more of a microdermabrasion effect but alas, even using it on dry skin prior to putting water on my face barely improves it's ability to gain traction and slough stuff off. Think of it as a nice, very lightly smoothing facewash.

Not for me
I'm trying really hard to move away from physical exfoliation, but my skin just needs it I think because it turns over so fast and I get pimples in literally one day if I don't exfoliate. I was hoping this would be a good stepping stone after coming down from the dermalogica daily microfoliant. I was wrong. This does absolutely nothing for me and it feels like I am just washing my face with lotion - I think the product is trying to make up for it's "damaging" exfoliant effects with an overly creamy background cream. I have been sharing the tube with my sister, and I will say she does not hate it as much as I do. I would have already returned it if not for her. Nonetheless, I do not see any point in this product and cannot imagine a situation in which I would recommend it to anyone.

Great feel and not harsh
I've used this a few times now and am happy with the way it feels. The beads are not scratchy or gritty at all and they seem to gently scrub the surface of the skin, and don't feel abrasive. The cleanser overall is very moisturizing and my skin feels soft and not irritated after using it. So far I'm pleased! I wear very little makeup and not sure this would be enough by itself to cleanse a made-up face. Even without makeup I use it as a second cleanser after my Paula's Choice foaming cleanser. Nice product!

Gentle and effective
As I use a retinol serum at night, I use this in the morning to gently exfoliate and stimulate circulation. It's best on lightly dampened skin. if skin is too wet, the little beads don't seem to get any traction. I like it a lot! I don't know if it would suffice as a nighttime cleanser on its own. I'd say that you would likely need to use a makeup remover and/or micallar water first. I definitely recommend this as a GENTLE exfoliant.

Wish it was a little grittier
I really love the brand Paula's Choice, so I was excited to use this mechanical exfoliator. It did a good job of scrubbing my skin, but as soon as I was in the zone, the beads dissipated. I know that this is to prevent people from over-doing it on their skin, but I wish it were a little grittier for my own personal needs. I do think this is a worthy product for run of the mill skin, and I do recommend it.

Not too harsh
I purchased this for my teenagers, and I think the degree of exfoliation is perfect for their skin. I also use it. I would prefer something a little more exfoliating for my 46-year-old skin. But it does leave a smooth feel to my skin. I don't know if that's exfoliation or a moisturizer leftover.
