It's Just Ok
I was using the Murad hydrating toner, but decided to try this based on a friend's recommendation. It is just ok. It's not hurting my face or causing any negative reactions; however, it is not doing anything special for my skin. Also, the nozzle for spraying is AWFUL. It sprays way too heavy and wastes a lot of product. From talking to my friend who purchases it regularly, that's normal. The smell is very "regal," which I enjoy, but given that I am not able to see any benefits to using it, I will not repurchase.

One of Yon-Ka's flagship products
I was introduced to Yon-Ka by a dermatologist and had stopped using it for a while due to the price. As I've gotten older the importance of skincare was something I could not ignore anymore. I am not fond of ALL of the Yon-Ka line as some of the products do make my skin break out. However, this is an old favorite that I was so pleased to find again when I began shopping at Dermstore, and I will continue to repurchase. The fragrance is strong at first with a lavender, earthy smell. It does not hang around for very long and mellows out a lot. This is not for everyone, some people want a synthetic "fresh" smell to their products. Personally, I prefer Yon-Ka, it's an earthy floral that doesn't smell powdery old-lady-ish if that makes sense. Lavender, thyme, and rosemary- It reminds me of the way certain Aveda products *used* to smell. It comes in a beautiful glass bottle with a sturdy lid and pump. I love the pump, it mists for long enough to just get it over your face. This is not super heavy and is ideal if you don't want full-on moisture, just a quick pick-me-up after washing your face. I like to use it before moisturizing or on days when I am giving my face a break from treatments. It would be awesome to use after a workout to soothe red skin. If you are like me and don't wear a full face of foundation every day, this is also a nice treat for your skin to use throughout the day as a pick-me-up, esp. on a hot or dry day.

Been using Yonka for 6 Yrs
I was a die-hard Shiseido user until I was turned onto Yonka. Love that the product is plant based with wonderful scents that are light and non-cloying. This toner is very light and helps prep your skin to receive your moisturizer. Just a mist and a pea size dab of Yonka mousturizer and your skin will feel soft and pliant. Not tight or pulled. I can't live without it!
