Wonderful spot treatment
This works wonders as a spot treatment for breakouts. When I start feeling my skin get congested I take a cotton ball with a couple of pumps of this and let it sit on the area during a bath. The next morning I can feel my skin is less red and irritated!

Smells fresh and seems to be working!
I love the scent of this product and it seems to be very effective in managing breakouts that I have had recently. What I don't appreciate is having to hold a cotton pad up to my face for 15 minutes at a time, my affected areas are on both sides of my face (which mean more than 15 minutes of holding a compress). What I have found at night to do is place circular bandaids with a pump of YonKa emulsion pure and go to sleep with it. The adhesive on my bandaids are very light so they don't seem to affect the rest of my face.

Soothing and Effective
I ordered Emulsion Pure (along with Yonka's Creme 93 and Lotion for Normal to Oily skin types) after experiencing my worst acne break out in years. As a bit of background, I am in my mid-20s and have sensitive combination skin (acne breakouts in my t-zone but also dryness). As you can see from the product description, Emulsion Pure is designed to be used as a compress to treat blemishes. I find it is most effective in treating those annoying, painful pimples that are still below the surface of the skin. In my case, using Emulsion Pure has helped to either bring the pimple to the surface as a whitehead so that it can be popped, or substantially reduce the size of the under-skin blemish. I have also used this product to treat ingrown hairs with nice results. I feel a slight tingling sensation when using Emulsion Pure. For me, this is a pleasant feeling, not an irritating one. Plus, I like think it means that the product is really working! I decided to give this product 4 stars instead of 5 because of the method of application. Using a compress on one's face can be tricky. It either requires that you hold the compress over the affected area for 15 minutes, or secure a saturated cotton ball to your face with a bandage or medical tape. I find that I don't use this product quite as much as a result, as I do not like the feeling of adhesive on my face (necessary if I need to use both my hands and therefore can't hold the compress on my face for 15 minutes). Nonetheless, I do feel it is effective when used properly.
