Love Skin Food; lip balm not great
I love the Skin Food line but this was a bit disappointing in that it was an okay product. The product separates a little bit, like the regular moisturizer, and gets a little oil on top. The problem is that is what comes out first and the tube is so small, you can't massage it to mix it properly. The tube is convenient but maybe better as a small tub.

Very nice.
I love Weleda and this lip balm does not disappoint. It may not be the tastiest, it has a bit of a herbal taste and smell but it's very healing so I use it at night.

misleading name
was mislead by the "butter" part of the product name and spilled a bunch on my first use. it's closer to an oil and it gets quite messy. can't say it does even a decent job of keeping my lips hydrated.

Too liquidy
I had high hopes for this product based on prior reviews, as well as cult status of other items from this brand. This one wasn't for me. While emollient, the lip balm is super watery. I feel like a lot of product is wasted during the application because of its consistency.

Good but not great
I like this lip butter but it isn't my favorite. The consistency isn't as moisturizing as other butters I've tried but I would still recommend it to try. I think I will stick to the regular skin food though.

Why didn't they call it lip food
Has a vaseline-like consistency, and has the typical Skin Food lemongrass/citrus-ish scent. I find that it moisturizes decently well, although I do like to apply it over a more emollient product first. The tube is very nice and handy to apply on the go!

This is moisturizing and not too greasy. It's clear paste that goes easily on. Only downside is it has petroleum and will leave a thin film. But it helps with flakiness. No scent, not the best application experience but is effective.
