Weleda Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Cream feeds thirsty skin with intense nourishment and hydration. The ultra rich face and body cream combats stubborn dryness that can occur on your face, hands, feet and elbows. Essential fatty acids along with vitamin E moisturize and soften while organic pansy calms irritation due to dry skin. Organic calendula flower extract gently cares for your skin, aiding repair and restoration.
Apply a small amount of Skin Food to dry or rough skin as needed and massage into the skin until the cream is absorbed. To deeply nourish hard-working, dry hands liberally apply the cream on the hands, cover with cotton gloves and leave on overnight.

Go to Winter moisturizer
Every Winter I switch out my face cream for moisturizer. While it is on the heavy side, I find it does a great job at keeping my skin hydrated throughout the day. I've also tried the light version of this and think it works just as well.

Great for dry skin
I used this product on my face and I love it! This stuff really hydrates my skin and it is ridiculously dry. There was a very slight tingling that lasted for under half a minute, but my skin is so sensitive that I'm used to it at this point. This is the first moisturizer I've used that truly hydrated my skin throughout the night. I saw other reviews comment negatively on the scent, but I barely noticed. Highly recommend.

Okay. I know this is a staple product for a lot of people. And I don't dislike it! I just feel like it's not actually as hydrating as it initially feels. It feels so nice and gratifying to put on, but doesn't offer lasting hydration. My hands sometimes feel drier a couple hours after using this. However, I do love the scent.

Ultra hydrating face "balm"
I too learned of this balm from dermatologist Shereen Idriss (Pillow Talk). I use it on my face, after I apply my aha face cream which helps lessen the irritation I sometimes get from acids. It does have a distinct fragrance which I happen to like but those sensitive to fragrance might not appreciate. I definitely will continue to use on my dry, aging skin at night year round. It is thick, and at first feels a little greasy, but it sinks into my skin quickly.
