White Cast but Good Protection
The texture was very elegant and I never experienced any piling with this product. It also offered great protection against post acne hyperpigmentation and I used it while my face was actively breaking out without any burning. However, this left the thickest white cast on my yellow to olive medium toned skin and the product's extreme dewiness causes it to transfer very easily onto clothing. It never blended in to my skin on its own so I had to mix it with a drier tinted sunscreen in order to wear it out.

velvety finish
I was looking for a high-SPF sunscreen for my face. This Vichy product was perfect. What I liked most was its velvety finish - very smooth. My skin is usually pretty dry but this does not dry it out even tho the finish is billed as "matte". Additionally, it does not irritate my eyes which has been a problem with other SPF products. I would definitely purchase it again.
