Not as good as previous Tarte gel eyeliners
Years ago I purchased several gel eyeliners from Tarte, and they were amazing. They were true gel liners, and very easy to apply. This one doesn't have the texture I would expect from a gel liner - it is rather dry. Thus, it doesn't glide effortlessly (and can't be sharpened) so I'm largely unable to get the line as fine as I'd like. I've also found this one to very difficult to remove.

Only thing that kinda works
Backstory; I can NOT wear liner in my waterline or lower lashes. I can load it on the top, but the second it goes on the lower half my eyes are irritated and it smudges off. Not this. It's still not 100% perfect on my lower lash line or waterline, it stay`s immensely better than any other product I've used! I can actually do a bit of a smokey eye by putting this on the outer half of my lower lash line!

This eyeliner is great especially for the waterline it doesn't budge on me and lasts for so long I do wish there were more colors of it though

Love it - it stays put all day, even for the waterline. I was so upset when they discontinued the emphasEYES but this is a good, perhaps better replacement as the liner is much smoother for your sensitive eyes. Wish they made it in brown!
