I'm Not a Mascara Girl
I don't love mascaras, I hate anything that can darken my eyes, and only apply a black cat eye with liquid liner when I'm really trying to impress. This mascara was just messy. It smudged and it was just not a good look...

Had high hopes but....
I usually am a huge fan of all of the tarte products I've tried. The texture of this mascara was nice at first, was not drying and glided on well. When applying, a few lashes ended up with clumps, when trying to smooth out this mascara flaked. I was still hopeful, but after wearing all day I ended up having raccoon eyes due to little flakes of mascara continuing to fall onto my lower lid. I wear contacts and flakes can ruin your day, when they fall into your eyes. I had high hopes this mascara would be great, but ended up disappointed.

Tarte Cosmetics Big Ego Mascara
Of all the Tarte cosmetics, I have to say that I like their different mascaras the most. This one is really good, has a nice dark color, applies with no clumping, and stays put pretty well. I didn't really like the shape of the brush, though, so that is why I took one star off. I honestly like the Tarte "Tartiest" as a better alternative.

Tarte Big Ego Mascara
I usually enjoy Tarte products but this mascara was a miss for me. It goes on fine, nothing special, but I end up with black smudges under my eyes after several hours every time I try it. This is not a common problem for me so it must be the formula.

I really like this mascara
My lashes look very full and this doesn't make them feel hard/crusty or flaky. When I touched my lashes, it sort of felt powdery. I would definitely use again!

There are better options out there
This mascara has no impact on lashes. I would call it more of a lash tint. The brush makes it difficult to coat the product on.

Good mascara from a good brand
Pros: You can build on this which is nice Gets all of the lashes very well Lengthens slightly Doesn't run even after workout Cons: The brush shape is a bit difficult to get into the corners of the eye

Made me Buy
I got this in my Beauty Fix box, I normally don't buy expensive mascara, but this one changed my mind. 2 coats and I have beautiful eyes. That's my only makeup and I need something that doesn't flake off, easy to wash off, stays on all day-this one did the job just fine.
