Supergoop!® Handscreen SPF 40 features an innovative complex of active botanicals, antioxidants and suncreens that correct and prevent the visible signs of aging in your hands. Omega-rich sea buckthorn extract diminishes hyperpigmentation and increases elasticity. Meadowfoam and argan oils increase firmness and UV filters defend against environmental damage.
Apply liberally at least 15 minutes prior to exposure to sun or UV lights.
The perfect protection to keep on hand in your purse or wherever your hands may be exposed to photoaging rays. Reapply at least every 2 hours.
Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating.

Like the portable size
I got the Supergoop handscreen because I was starting to feel worried about not using sunscreen on my hands. I love the portable size because I can keep it in my car, or purse, or backpack and apply some on my hands right before leaving the building. It does come out looking a little greasy and it's more of a sunscreen than a moisturizer but it serves its purpose!

Don't sleep on SPF for your hands!
I'm nearly 35 and have been using SPF on my face for years... I didn't even begin to think about SPF for my hands though until my friend mentioned it. Since we live in Florida and I already love the Supergoop face SPF, I decided it was necessary to start a hand SPF and gave this brand a shot. Good for the Car
I keep this in my car for when I'm driving around and the sun is beaming in. People don't necessarily realize that the UV rays penetrate your windows, so keeping your hands covered with SPF with keep them from aging faster! Definitely a must if you live in a sunny place like California!

Good Hand Sunscreen
It is super hard to find a hand sunscreen with any sort of SPF in the US. This item is great because it is SPF 40 and comes either in an easy travel sized container or in a larger container I keep at home. I am giving this 4 stars because it is very hard to find a hand sunscreen with SPF BUT it isn't super hydrating. I find that my hands are often looking for more moisture after applying if I am in a dry environment (i.e. airplane, winter climate, etc.) and it is more pricey than I typically like spending on a hand cream.

Good idea but doesn’t protect
I don’t know that any sunscreen is really protecting without zinc oxide. I purchased a used and did like the texture but the ingredients didn’t warrant another purchase. I find purchasing a travel size of standard brands to be a better choice.

I never thought about protecting my hands from sun exposure until i turned 37 and i started developing dark spots on my hands :-( They are always exposed and its your skin so why not protected too especially if you commute to and from work. This is a great hand sunscreen but i feel like you could just use your body sunscreen too. Don't think it has to be specifically the targeted for hands - just protect your hands. I forget all the time but its just about creating a habit.
