This sunscreen makes my face hurt. Maybe I am allergic to something in this sunscreen. I would not recommend if you have sensitive skin although i don't have sensitive skin.

Perfection

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I first discovered Suntegrity back in 2015 when I decided to do a complete overhaul of all my skincare and makeup products to instead use only clean and good-for-me products. I love Suntegrity's mission of wanting to provide real, effective sun protection while at the same time not putting nonsense and nasty ingredients in their products that can end up causing harm. The fact that Suntegrity has been on EWG's Skin Deep list of best, healthy, and most effective sunscreens year after year tells me that this company is worth it. About the product: I purchase this in the color Light, which has seemed to work well for me, although I could probably purchase another color for when I apply self tanner. I don't really wear a lot of layers of makeup, so I actually use this product as if it were a BB cream/foundation itself and I find that it's completely enough for me. Because I'm not trying to go for a high coverage look but still get a medium coverage with all the sunscreen benefits, I feel like this product is thick enough without being overly thick and fake. Now that being said, this product does not have the consistency of thinner face sunscreens that use chemicals, so for those who are used to thin, watery-like chemical based sunscreens, this might be a change for you. However, it's worth it. The product applies well and seems to last, especially if you top it with a setting powder. So I'd say that for those not needing an extreme coverage but still a medium coverage, this would be perfect for you just used alone. I can imagine that for those wanting to add more coverage, you could easily apply a liquid or powder foundation on top after this has set a couple of minutes. Honestly, this is THE product that I use every single day- it not only protects my skin but makes it better. It might be a little pricy, but it lasts for several months for me. The quality and ethics of this company stand for itself, so just go for it. You'll love it.

Dewy without being oily

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Provides an excellent, long-lasting base for concealer ... which is something I need a lot of for ancient cystic acne scars. I apply facial oil and moisturizer, and then wait to apply this sunscreen + concealer + a light mineral powder before leaving my house for the day. My skin looks healthier and almost dewy in appearance. I'm a freckly redhead and the color is great for spring and summer. For winter, I'm afraid it will be a tad too dark.

Great, but not my favorite

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I ordered this product because it was one of the only sunblocks on http://www.ewg.org/2015sunscreen/ with a #1 rating in all 3 categories. Plus it contains the least amount of potentially harmful inactive ingredients such as dimethicone and laurel methicone which pose organ system toxicity concerns. It's also recommended by Tina Richards and I think we can all agree that lady's face looks incredible! It goes on thick and you have to work a bit to rub it in, but I feel that means it will give more protection than something like a thin bb cream with SPF... The golden light tint perfectly matches my medium complexion. The downside is it can feel slick after just a couple hours and it comes off easily. Also, I have been breaking out on the cheeks while using this, but I began using it at the same time as starting a couple other skincare products so it may not be solely to blame. I'm torn because I know this is probably one of the safest sunscreens out there, but I got a sample of Cotz face when I ordered this. Cotz has a #2 rating on EWG.org and contains a few potentially harmful ingredients. However, it seriously feels like silk! I glowed, and the silky feeling on my face lasted all day long. I think I will try a full-size bottle of Cotz, but if the breakouts persist, I may go back to Suntegrity. Twenty years from now, I don't want to regret putting certain chemicals on my face...

great sun protection

It feels moisturizing when I apply it on my face, but I think the ingredients zinc and titanium is drying my skin out.

Lift-weight and does not make your face feel greasy like a lot of sunscreens. Adds a nice tint and some coverage!

good moisturizing sunscreen

This product is more of a tinted sunscreen rather than a BB cream. It's on the pricey side, given that you only get 1.7 oz of product.

A healthy sunscreen

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I do like the ingredients and the versatility of all this product offers, but it is more moisturizing and a little greasy feeling on my skin. I will use this on my décolleté and body rather than my face. Makeup does not apply the same and I bought it as a facial SPF/primer.

Good natural product

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Over the past few months I've been transitioning over to natural products that don't have chemicals and preservatives. So far this product has been great for my super sensitive skin. It provides a very light tint, goes on smoothly, doesn't seem to bother my skin and I haven't had any issue with sunburn. There's no discernible fragrance either, which I like. My only complaint is that I live in a very, very dry and sunny climate and this product just isn't hydrating enough on its own. It seems just a touch dry. So I layer my products - first layer is a super hydrating serum, then I usually pair the Suntegrity with a hydrating primer (also natural) for added moisture. That seems to work pretty well. I'd buy this again.
