Formulated with clarifying plant oils like tea tree and black cumin seed oil, this facial serum also works to combat fine lines and wrinkles, revealing a more even and smooth complexion.
Key Ingredients:
- Tea Tree and Black Cumin Seed Oil: help purify the skin and supports clarity
- Salicylic Acid (1.5%): clears clogged pores, corrects and prevents acne and blackheads
- Licorice Root and Hexylresorcinol: naturally brighten the appearance of dark spots
Tip: Mix three to four drops of this oil into foundation before application to give hydrating, acne-fighting power to your makeup routine. Layer on top of Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel toner for more oily skin support. Acne Fighting Oil of My Dreams!
As with all Sunday Riley products, the price left me wary to try for quite some time. I ended up purchasing the $40 bottle, which lasted me forever! I ended up repurchasing the larger bottle because I fell in love. This product is light, gentle, yet effective. I'm a huge fan of oils, so I use this daily mixed into my moisturizer to battle pimples throughout the day. At night, I use the Good Genes & Luna combo and my skin really has not been clearer in a long time. Of course, I still get breakouts, but this product helps keep inflammation down and helps them heal without drying my skin out too much, as it is sensitive. If you're acne prone and your skin reacts well to salicylic acid, please try a sample of this! You'll end up loving it as much as I do!

My favorite facial oil
I've only recently started to try to improve my skin care regimen after having more and worse breakouts than usual.. this is one of my favorites from all the things I've tried so far! I think it was one of the most effective things I used for cystic acne. I had never used facial oil before but I actually love it.. a little goes a long way, and keeps my face moisturized and breakout free. I actually enjoy the smell too; definitely herbal, but in a good "it's doing something" way..

Not the holy grail I was hoping for, but still pretty good.
I really like the smell of this, even though a lot of people aren't such a fan. This oil feels very thick and doesn't absorb into my skin very quickly, so I mostly just use it at night. Maybe I've been using too much at a time? It didn't really help clear my skin very much. I've started rotating it with other topical acne products when I'm breaking out. This is really good for when my skin is feeling particularly dry and irritated because its very gentle and moisturizing.

Only thing that keeps my skin clear without any irritation
I really love this oil, I only wish it weren't so expensive. It is the only product that will keep my skin consistently clear without causing a bunch of irritation. I have tried a few other Sunday Riley oils, but this is the best. The one I see the most results from. It does have a medicinal smell, but you get used to it and it kind of grows on you. I keep trying to find a cheaper dupe, but am slowly realizing this formulation is pretty perfect and nothing comes close. Now I only use it on the areas I am most likely to break out, and the times I am most likely to break out. So I am hoping the jar should last a pretty long time.

Non drying treatment
I've been using this almost daily for 7 months and plan to purchase more. Unlike some acne treatments this is not drying. One problem is that it is difficult to travel with because it is an oil and doesn't work well in typical travel containers. It takes a few minutes to completely absorb but it does eventually.

Best Serum I've Ever Used
I can't say how much I love this serum. I wasn't expecting it to blow me away because they usually don't use products with salicylic acid in them. This oil Always makes my skin look bright in the morning and helps keep breakouts at bay. I have also noticed that it brings the sort in my pores to the surface so they are easier to clean out! Smells herbal but not gross.
