great way to try retinol
I love this oil and find it to be a really effective but gentle way to introduce retinol into my skincare routine. I have sensitive skin but didn't experience any irritation using this.

I dont know why so many people are scared of using facial oils if they EVER get zits or pimples - Luna has significantly HELPED with mine. I live in the desert so my skin can get drrrryyyyy, and nothing feels better at the end of the day than using Luna, and whether it's from Luna itself or my other products, when I take away my hands from massaging it in I see those little flecks of dead skin that had my skin looking dull as heck coming away and my skin is instantly plumped up. It drinks this stuff in. It doesn't feel slimy or "too oily". It's also so calming on my skin, and with my dryness comes redness, so Luna also helps that cause. My skin always looks radiant in the morning after using it. Plus, the color is just fun - and the scent is just so soothing and spa-worthy it's like a mini-facial every time you use it. You also can't get any better than SR packaging, it makes you feel like a celebrity. Yes, it is expensive. But a little goes a long way - don't slather yourself in it! (If you can afford to though - by all means!) I fill the dropper about a quarter full and use about that much, maybe even less. I can make a bottle last at least two months. You're worth it though and your skin will thank you!

I cannot go without this oil
I have sensitive, reactive skin, and most retinol products burn my skin. This product is gentile and effective. I use after cleansing and toning, before my moisturizer. I started off using this product twice a week to avoid purging and burns. This is the only product that calms my roseacia and redness.

Love this retinol!
This retinol is a great intro retinol. It's gentle enough that, even with sensitive skin, it has never bothered my skin. It actually helps with redness. I can use this every night without any irritation. I have recently started using other stronger retinols two nights a week to help with wrinkles as I get older. In between, I use this. Highly recommend.

Not a fan of the colors added
I tried this for a week and did feel like my skin looked brighter and more luminous in the morning. I don't know if it's just because it was more heavily moisturized (I usually use a light gel moisturizer), but it did work in that regard. However, I was reading reviews on another website, and one reviewer mentioned that there is blue color added. I checked and was shocked to see that she was correct. For that reason, I will not be repurchasing.

Clear skin everyday
Let me be transparent before I finish this review: I have really good skin at baseline. I almost never get spots, my over-30 skin is normal-dry per the season, and I have worn SPF every single day for many years. That said, if I am inattentive or being particularly careless, I can occasionally get a clogged comedone every few months and blackheads near my nose. To combat that while also giving my skin some retinoic acid is where Luna comes in. I've used this with varying regularity since 2016. The bottom line is that my face loves this product. I wake up with soft, plump, hydrated skin every morning. I have tried other products and experimented with bakuchiol formulations, but nothing beats Luna. Say what you want about blue tansy and the licorice smell, the product works. Whoever kisses you goodnight will get used to it too.
