Blue Dye and Sensitizing Citrus Oils = No-Go
Luna Sleeping Oil is full of moisturizers, and antioxidants, as well as chamomile which can reduce irritation. I gave in to the appeal and used this oil for over a year, never having any kind of anti-aging results. It includes hydroxypinacolone retinoate which doesn't have a lot of scientific-backing when it stands as the lone retinol ingredient. All the while, my skin was actually, slowly getting more and more irritated. The blue tansy is great but, unfortunately, for aesthetic reasons, I assume, they add blue dyes to the formula. The largest draw-back here are the numerous inflammation-inducing/sensitizing citrus oils that can be found in many of their products.

Luxurious oil
I think this is a beautiful, luxurious oil. I wanted a nighttime oil and I can't believe how nice it feels and how well it absorbs. I really like the aroma because it's natural and based upon the ingredients and not artificial fragrances. As with other Sunday Riley oils, a small amount goes a long way and a bottle will last a very long time.

Staple Night Care Item!
I've been using Sunday Riley's Luna oil for at least 4 years now. Being in early 40's my skin needs a little extra moisture and smoothing and this is miracle oil. Don't be fooled by the blue color, it absorbs fairly quickly and you wake up with lovely soft renewed skin. I often give this as a gift to all my friends and they are all obsessed now as well. You can't go wrong.

great for alternating!
I already use a retinol product, but because it's quite a bit more concentrated, this has been a great product for in-between treatments. It's super silky on application and has a really pleasant smell, sort of like green tea. It is moisturizing enough that I've used it alone, but also works well under other moisturizers too. Price is a little high, given that it's almost as much as my primary prescription-strength retinol. However, if you have it in the budget, this is overall a great secondary retinol to have in rotation.

Overall, it's a great oil
I'm not really an oil person, but the hype about this product made me want to try and I was lucky to get a few samples so was able to test and it's a great oil, my skin likes it. I'm not sure though if I want to drop my serum for this?

Just all right
I want to like this retinol sleeping oil, but it's really just all right. I think it is a nice way to ease into using retinol regularly and the oil component certainly prevents retinol induced dryness. Still, though, I didn't think it worked very well. There are better products out there.
