Calms down my skin
Since hitting 27, my skin has gotten out of control with acne and bumps. This oil originally intimidated me because of the "oil" part, but it has never broken me out. When my skin is acting up, this is my go-to product and I can trust the next morning I'll wake up with clearer, calmer skin. I use it maybe 2-3 times per week, and that's plenty to see results. The scent is strange but wears off quickly, so really you can only smell it during application. Definitely not a strong enough scent to deter me from using it because the results outweigh the smell.

Kind of a letdown
This was supposed to be the holy grail, and I loved Good Genes! They're supposed to be bffs and this one let me down. To be fair I was trying to ease into retinoids, but I felt like my face was just oily and then woke up red and blotchy. I'm going to try and take a break and switch up how I use it! Also the smell is as weird as they all say, but I'm not trying to mess with weird fragrances anyway.

Made me breakout terribly !!
I am big fan of Sunday Riley products, but this night oil did NOT agree with my skin. I literally woke up the next morning with red bumps covering my entire face. Following that day, some of the bumps turned to full on pimples. My skin is a little more on the sensitive side, but not to where I would have ever thought I would have his reaction. I did notice across other reviews, many others has this reaction. On the plus side, I was able to return with absolutely no problems!

So Far So Good
This oil has a bit of a strange smell but it dissipates quick once on the skin. It is gentle and seems to keep my skin moisturized and happy, and my skin does look "brighter" or at least less spotty and dull. I'll likely keep using this-the bottle is huge and will last quite a while.

I feel it's working
I have bought the trial size duo of the Good Genes with the Luna Sleeping Oil. I honestly do not like the smell of the Luna Oil because it smells like black licorice. But the smell "disappears" after a bit and then I apply the Good Genes which has a more pleasant smell of lemongrass. I've been using it for a little over a month now and I do notice a difference in the appearance of my pores. I absolutely hate how enlarged my pores are but I have actually noticed a slight difference in just two weeks, give or take a couple of days. It seems to have visibly minimized my pores.

Scent takes getting used to
I almost ditched this because I hated the smell. But I stuck it out for a little longer because my skin feels good the morning after I've used it. You only need a tiny bit, otherwise your face just feels slick, so a little goes a long way. I also really dislike the packaging - not a fan of the dropper method. As far as it's effectiveness - it does work. But I'm not sure if I can commit to this long term. The smell and the price may not be worth it.
