Not for sensitive skin
I really enjoyed the texture of this cream. It was smooth without being oily or too heavy. I have dry and sensitive skin. The first night I used it, I could tell my skin was plumping and hydrating overnight. However, upon the second use, it started to make me break out.

Breakout Alert!
This has a wonderful smell and texture - definitely on the heavier side. I did start to breakout wherever I used this, though. I did a few patch tests, and sure enough I broke out every time. I love using this on the backs of my hands or neck/chest (or anywhere that won't make me breakout).

Made me break out
Gave me tons of tiny bumps all over, even around my eye area, which absolutely has never broken out from any other cream. I threw away the sample. It took only a few days of use for this to happen and the bumps are still getting worse since I quit using it, so I am not sure how long I will have to wait for them to clear up.

Go-to for barrier repair
My skin is acne/oily-prone. I can keep breakouts in check with the right regimen of retinol, sulfur, and exfoliating acids (mandelic + sal). While these ingredients keep my oiliness/acne in-check, they can be extremely drying, especially if I over do it. As soon as my skin barrier gets disrupted, my acne and redness gets so much worse. I was very hesitant to use this cream bc I assumed it would clog my pores, but in combination with my anti-acne ingredients, this cream has been a god send. I think it took me a few weeks to fully feel confident that this product didn't clog my pores (bc it is so hydrating - I assumed it would), but I'm now on my 4th or 5th month of using this product, and I slather it on with no clogged pores, breakouts, or hesitations. The redness in my skin has significantly decreased, and my skin barrier is strong. Honestly, my skin has never looked better bc I can finally use prescription retinol as my Derm prescribed without my skin flaking off and insane redness. This moisturizer is amazing. (And seeing the reviews, I'm surprised bc I actually love the smell, and i am so sensitive to scent.)

Works miracles on my skin
I just started to use a sample I got way back with one of my Dermstore orders, and I just cannot believe how effective it is! I have several skin concerns, including occasional breakouts, chronic seborrheic dermatitis, and sensitivity. And this cream calms down my skin, gives it a feeling of deep hydration. My skin looks smooth and glowing! Will definitely but a full-size product!
