Strong fragrance, no noticeable results
I know that Good Genes receives a lot of praise and obviously works well for many people. I didn't experience great results from this product after using up a sample tube. It may take more than several applications to see results. However, the main reason I won't buy this is the strong fragrance. The scent lingers and is overwhelming for a skin care product.

Results are wonderful and immediate
This stuff is the real deal!!! I came across it on a beauty blog and it has a cult following so of course I had to try it. It worked immediately. I put it on at night under my night cream and when I woke up my face was smoother, more clear, and bright. I have now been using it for about a month and I am hooked! I love it so much I bragged about how great it is to everyone I know and now several people I know are using it and they love it too!

I am absolutely stunned
I'm 32 and my skin isn't usually terrible, but it's been getting more and more unruly the older I get because I have oily skin that is now becoming extreme combination skin (still very oily, but now also very dry.) I put off buying this for so long because of the price, but now I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner and wasting money on other cheaper items that didn't work for me. It's making my skin clearer (cystic acne, blackheads) and noticeably brighter. I would consider walking out of my house without make up right now, and that is SAYING something. You should know that it will probably burn and/or tingle the first time you use it. My face was actually a little pink when I woke up after using it the first time, but it subsided very quickly. Should you drop the money and try it? Absolutely.

I've been using this for about a week now and i have noticed that fine lines on my forehead are almost gone! It has a light tingling sensation once you apply it, but the feeling is gone shortly. Feels luxurious and healing. I like to put this on at night... I wake up looking radiant and well rested. My skin is smoother and brighter. It has a bit of a smell, like lemongrass, but it doesn't bother me. It can be a little greasy/shiny, so I don't think it's a product to wear under makeup. Overall, I love this product.

Good product, but use sparingly!
I received Good Genes and absolutely loved it. I applied it at night and woke up the next morning with beautiful, glowing skin - no exaggeration there, I have never seen noticeable results as quickly as I did with this product. Unfortunately the downside is that I found too much of this product does not bode well for sensitive skin! The product did sting a bit upon application, but I expected that given the lactic acid. What I didn't expect were the severe dry patches, bumpiness/scaliness in certain spots on my skin, and the redness - I quickly figured out that I needed to decrease the frequency with which I used this product to avoid that. I only use this product once a week now and haven't had any adverse reactions since. If you have sensitive skin, be aware that this is a strong product and while it is great, you should approach with caution and use it sparingly.
