Worth every penny!
Sometimes I think Sunday Riley is overhyped, but then I use this again and change my mind. This is worth every penny! I put it on at night a few times a week, and I wake up with glowing, plump, and smooth skin. I haven't noticed it working on my hyperpigmentation, but it has helped my rough texture and closed comedones. I usually wash my face right after my kids go to bed, so I put this on and let it sit while I'm watching TV or whatever, then if my face feels like it needs it I put some oil or a cream on top. I want this to have as much time as possible to work on my face.

Worth the hype!
I can see a definite difference on the nights I use the product (4 times a week). I have a lot of texture on my cheek area from acne scarring since my teen years. My face looks instantly plumped when I apply, the acne scars look less prominent and I wake up with fresher, clearer and more radiant skin. I don't love the smell, but it doesn't bother me. Just 1 small pump is enough to cover the entire face! The price is definitely up there, but I hope this bottle lasts me at least 6 months.

Oh my god
I've had trouble with my skin since getting hormonal birth control in February. I went from clear skin to break Outs and texture, once the break outs healed, I had hyperpigmentation and still had the texture. I tried so many products, and some things worked but nothing worked that well and a lot of things really irritated my sensitive skin. I'd avoided buying this because of the price, but then I broke down and got it and it made such a huge difference. I hesitate to say something this expensive is worth the price, but...it might be.

i didn't think i would ever buy this, but after trying a deluxe sample, i was pretty convinced. if you are new to acids, it might burn a little. the smell also takes some getting used to. it works great as an overnight treatment or mask...i wouldn't use this during the day though as the instructions suggest. definitely gives you a glow!

Made my face a little bit better
I was very unsure about buying this product because I have sensitive skin but now I think it's good for me like night serum. Nothing dramatic happens after 3 weeks but I see some small changes. It doesn't remove lines or blackheads or white heads and my pores in the same size like before. I start thinking about Luna oil but anyway better take a sample before buying it.

Did not work for my skin
I have acne prone sensitive skin and had been using the Drunk elephant night serum with great results. I decided to try good genes since I had heard many prefer it over the DE night serum.The first week I used this I didn't see any results (with DE tlc results were immediate). And the second week I started to get a lot of redness and patches of dry irritated skin. Unfortunately i had to return, if this doesn't work for you I would try the Drunk elephant night serum after going back to it It gave me my glowy clear smooth skin I had lost while using Good Genes.

I seriously never write reviews but I have been searching for my HG skincare products for years now and I can finally say this and the Sunday Riley Luna oil are such an amazing combo for my oily, sensitive, white head prone skin. I went years and years without using moisturizer because I could not find one moisturizing product that didn't break me out - I tried oils, creams, gels, and whether it was whiteheads or cystic pimples, it was always a problem so I just nixed moisturizer all together. Now that I'm in my mid 20's I decided I needed to find something that was going to work as an anti aging and moisturizing product and omg have I found it. Every night I cleanse my face with the SkinMedica AHA/BHA cleanser, then apply the Luna oil, wait 5 minutes and apply Good Genes and it has left my skin so glowy, dewy, and not a whitehead or breakout in sight. I must say at first I was hesitant and even almost put the products back in the store after testing the Luna oil and thinking it was going to be too greasy but I decided to give it a try and after weeks of using it it just sinks right into my skin so beautifully, and the Good Genes leaves skin feeling like velvet! Don't be put off by the heaviness/oiliness of it at first like I was, it will sink into your skin better after a week or so of use!
