Great For Acne
I generally have fairly clear skin,acne-chin. I ordered this 3 weeks ago and have been using it (plus Vitamin C serum and the Sunday Riley Luna Oil) about 4 times a week. Not only has my skin stopped breaking out but the little red bumps have all but gone away. I am beyond pleased.

I really like this product. I didn't notice too much of a difference with the switch from glycolic acid to lactic acid and it is much cheaper! Makes my skin look nice and smooth.

Good for fading spots, bad for causing cystic acne
I really wanted to like this, and it did have some positives - definitely faded past red marks, smoothed some milia like texture on my temples - but it caused some pretty gnarly cystic acne on my chin, which wasn't a problem before. The cystic acne led to more red marks and potential scarring which kind of defeated the purpose for me. The severity led me to return it, but if you aren't acne prone or sensitive/reactive and are looking to smooth out texture and fade redness, it was pretty good on that front. I actually loved the scent, like a herbal lemongrass. I have combo skin, large pores with dry patches, very occasional small whitehead pimples, but this caused some outrageously sized guys that was above and beyond regular purging, and i gave it a month to try and power through, applying every couple days as recommended. I was trying to calm some mascne issues but this wasn't it - went back to old college standby proactiv refining lotion/sulphur mask + paula's choice bha regimen and feel like i'm finally clearing up some of the cystic acne caused by this. Thank you dermstore for your generous try-out time and return policy, much needed for people with finicky faces like mine!

Worth every penny!
I was constantly told i needed Good Genes in my skincare routine. And i FINALLY i decided to give it a try! I've been using it for about 3 weeks now and noticed such a huge difference on my face! I ordered this hoping that it would live up to the hype. AND IT DOES! My skin was dull and a little bumpy from hormonal acne and dry this. I put one pump over my face 2x a day and emptied the bottle over the month. It absorbed into my face so easily. I used this right after my cleanser. It brightened by skin, sloughed away the dry skin and helped with my fine lines. I will reorder again.

Not worth the hype
I was excited to try this, so many rave reviews, it just didn't live up to the hype. I started using as a spot treatment and no irritation so I worked up to using it as a night serum every other night. I have sensitive skin and was pleased that I had no reaction/irritation but I haven't really noticed any difference or improvement in my skin. Maybe more time will tell. I am about halfway through the bottle and as of now I don't plan to repurchase.

Its expensive yes, but It worked, so its worth it
I received this product as a sample first. I didn't use it correctly but when I took it off my face felt sooooo smooth after that I couldn't help but look into it more. Obviously I bought it and used it on a weekly basis. about two maybe three times a week which could be too much. My first three times of using it, pigmentation went away. That sold me enough, let alone the smoothness and firmness. Im only 30 and it helped significantly.

Great product with immediate results
I recently received a sample of this product. I used it as a day time serum under my daytime spf moisturizer. I have acne/combo middle aged skin. After using this product my skin immediately had a nice shine and appeared smoother. You only need a small amount and it smooths easily into the skin with no oiliness or residue. My skin appeared softer and smoother. I would recommend this product. In summary: Pros: non oily, skin appears smoother and youthful, unscented, only a small amount needed. Cons: Very pricey, but a little goes a long way.
