There are some studies done on different types of vitamin c. The type in this product is not the most effective

I am giving this product 3 stars because for the price, it didn't last long at all! The smell is delicious and if you can stand the creamy texture then it is for you! I personally prefer a serum.

Smells lovely, good moisturizer
Smells very good, seems to moisturize nicely. Not sure about the "brightening" capabilities as have only been using for a couple weeks. Definitely a lotion and not a serum. Fingers crossed, but so far so good.

Favortie Vitamin C serum
I was looking for a THD ascorbate vitamin C serum and have not been disappointed with this one. I find the texture to be ever so slightly tacky, and although it takes a little bit to absorb into my skin, I have loved the results so far. I have found that my post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation has been reduced with this product and my pores don't look as noticeable! A staple in my morning skincare routine.

The THD ascorbate is the right kind of vitamin c to be effective. I like the creamy texture, it feels more hydrating and not oily. I always see ppl saying they notice a difference with all vitamin c serums brightening their faces, and I will admit that I don't. My skin does look good since I'm taking care of it, so I'm not complaining!
