I am 54 and have been using this for about a year 2x’s a day for the most part. Upper lid and under eye. Side note eye cream is applied a little below the eye not right up under it. I absolutely love this cream De puffs, brightens, tones and reduces fine lines. And I have abused, in the past, my face with tanning. No longer but it has so improved my skin.

Solid option (& also a little meh)
I bought this after seeing Caroline Hirons' glowing review. (I think it might even be a hall of fame product for her.) I like that it absorbs well/without lingering tackiness, adds moisture, and helps my under-eye and upper lid areas to look fairly smooth. The (minor) downsides for me have been that I haven't noticed any brightening or depuffing. Also, heads up for those with sensitive eyes: in my experience, if I use a full pump of this (split over both eyes) it tends to creep into my eyes and cause irritation. A half pump (split over both eyes) and staying away from the last line seems to avoid this.

I'm always skeptical of eye creams, but this one does seem to work well. I have dark circles and fine lines, and this helps with both of them. After using for a month or so my undereye is much less crepey, and the fine lines are minimized. My concealer lasts longer and stays smooth. I haven't noticed any change with my dark circles, but I don't think any eye cream truly helps with that!
