Slip on over a standard or queen-size pillow. For maximum results, use for 8 hours daily.
Slip pure silk pillowcases are of the highest quality so they are machine washable, but they are still silk and need as much care as we can give them. Always use a pH neutral detergent and/or fabric softener. Silk is a natural fiber and washing in a solution that's too acidic or alkaline can cause the silk to harden in a single wash. If you can't find a detergent that specifies pH level, opt for one that specifies silk. If your machine doesn't specify exact heat settings, wash on either cold or just one level above cold. If you wish to maximize the life of your pillowcase, hand washing is the ultimate method.

Skin savior
Laying on the pillow case is so refreshing. It is cool and smooth. I've only used it for about a week but I have noticed that my skin is less dry and flaky in the morning; I use a lot of acids at night so this is much needed. I also don't sweat or see tons of oil on the pillow case as you may with cloth. I love the pillowcase but the cost could be lowered.

Disappointed
After hearing lots of hype about silk pillowcases, I decided to purchase this one made by Slip. I was excited to try it when it first arrived, but immediately noticed the "white" color was much more off-white, leaning toward ivory. This seems minor, but left me disappointed as it didn't match my white sheets as planned. The material is also very thin, and someone translucent, not what I would expect from an $80 pillowcase. I assumed it would require special care for laundering, however it needs to be ironed after every wash as it becomes quite wrinkly after air drying. It also wrinkles quite badly just from sleeping on it. The main benefit I expected from this was getting rid of that annoying sleep crease that I wake up with every morning (basically a vertical wrinkle from sleeping on my side and my face being scrunched up). I can't lie, this felt amazing to sleep on, with much less pulling on my skin and hair compared to a cotton pillowcase. Unfortunately I still woke up with that sleep crease every morning. Due to this and the apparent subpar quality, I decided to return it.
