Recommended to my by dermatologist this is lightweight and goes on well just over toner/liquid serums. Not greasy. Love that it is bit C & E. I’ll always use a good C. Not sure if this is better than others. It’s not noticeable so great for layering.

I love this serum! It sinks into my skin and doesn't pill or leave a white residue or make me look greasy, which is very important esp now that it's summer. It's also not very abrasive - doesn't sting like other vit c serums. Giving it 4 stars because of the price...like all skin medica products, this is a splurge.

Not worth the high $$$
I didn't even want to write one because I wanted to give the serum a quality longevity use. It has bothered me so bad i just wanted to share what happened to me personally with this product. My conclusion is that it's not worth the hype. I bought it simply based "on the reviews." I personally feel like Paula's choice vitamin C is much more effective than this.

Not tolerated
I have used other Vitamin C products in the past without issue, however my skin did not tolerate this product. When applying to skin it has a rough finish, similar to that of a scrub. After use my face becomes red and irritated. I have tried for months to use this product and would limit to a couple days a week (prior vitamin C's daily) but still with no success. Unfortunately my sensitive skin did not tolerate this product.

This serum works pretty well and goes on nicely. I don't notice a huge difference in my skin, but I also have used other brands in the past and not noticed any changes either! Using a vitamin c/e serum is highly recommended by my dermatologist, and this price point is the best for the quality.
