Gives a Great Glow
This product was recommended to me by my medical estethician, and after I finished the sample she gave me, I immediately started buying more and more and more. I even recommended it to my mother, because it's that good. Skinmedica's Vitamin C+E Complex has evened out my skin tone and given me a great overall glow, while also diminishing the appearance of red marks and acne scars. It even helped to fade a scar from a bad gash I got near my eye after a fall down the stairs. The consistency is sort of gel-like, and it dries like a primer, with an almost velvety feel to the skin. I almost always use a moisturizer over it, because when you use a product like this you need to follow it up with an SPF of 30 or higher. But I definitely recommend this product. I use it every day. The only thing is the packaging. I do agree with the other reviewers on that. After a while the pump starts to sputter and you have to take the bottle apart.

Bad reaction
I, unfortunately, had a bad reaction to this product. I have used SkinCeuticals Ferulic C & E serum for years but decided to stray. I liked the lack of fragrance, but did not like the heavier feel of this. It's more of a lotion like texture versus watery or serum like. It has a heavy silicone feel to it so it does work well under makeup, but for me, I don't like that heavy feeling and I believe that is what may have made my skin react negatively. It did, however, brighten the complexion upon initial application.

Like it and want to keep trying it out
This product has a nice velvet matte feel and goes great under other creams. I received it as a sample and I know the vitamin C and E are great for my skin but this is a product for which I am not sure you would see visible actual results. You just know the antioxidants and vitamins are good for your skin. I think it is very pricy for what it is so that has deterred me from purchasing it. I have received it as a sample several times. I would like to find a similar product that isn't so pricy.
