Very drying
I really really want to love this product and reading the reviews, it feels like I got something completely different from what others are experiencing. I bought this with the Retinol lotion so I expected about a month + of bad skin while my face got used to using Retinol. I've been using it for about 2 months now daily hoping it'll get better, but my skin gets so incredibly dry after applying I can't even put makeup on. About 5 min after applying my skin starts flaking and you can see dry spots on my cheeks and forehead. At that point another moisturizer on top barely fixes the dryness. Also, the texture is smooth at first but then it has some kind of grittiness in it that I can feel when rubbing it into my face. I haven't noticed any improvement with my skin, especially for the high price point. Not impressed.

Game changer
After deciding to slowly start integrating some actives into my morning routine, I received a sample of this with another dermstore order. I was hesitant at first because I had heard mixed reviews on Vitamin C stability and efficacy in general and also was unfamiliar with the brand. In addition, I worked very hard to build up my skin's hydration and suppleness after a strange and inexplicable adult acne experience 2 years ago at the age of 37, so I didn't want to damage my skin's barrier. I love this product. Why? It works. I use Retin-A at night with a host of moisturizers and in the AM I also use moisturizers and sunscreen. This is the perfect active. In 2 months of daily AM use, it has actually reduced my sun spots and an old acne red spot (??) from 6 months ago and brightened my skin. I love the texture. It's not too runny or slimy, it absorbs almost immediately into my skin. Just one drop covers my face, neck and chest. I have sensitive skin due to nightly use of Retin-A (and in general it can be a bit sensitive); but this integrated into my routine perfectly and caused zero irritation. It's on the pricey side, but my skin seems to love it, so I hope the pump lasts a while.

Had High Hopes
Based on all the 5-star reviews I had very high hopes for this product. A warning to all those who have oily to combination skin, I would stay away. While it's very silky going on, the vitamin E turns my skin into a greasy mess within 2 hours. I also noticed I have started having a lot more breakouts since starting, which I did not have before. Very disappointed, especially since it's a premium price point.

Made me break out
After reading reviews on this product, I want to like it so much. BUT, it did nothing to improve the look and feel of my skin and, in fact, made me break out for the 2 weeks I was using it. I have been told to give products time to adjust, but I say that is a loaded statement. Why would I do that to myself? Needless to day, I returned this item. Smooth Silky Feeling
