Burns. Not soothing as claimed.
I have tried to use this serum for the past three days. The first day my eyes burned very badly. And by that I mean my eye balls. Assuming I'd done something to get it in my eyes themselves I have carefully applied less and less and kept it far from my eye margin. Nevertheless, within minutes my eyes burn so badly I have to remove the product. I'm a bit confused how something with acids and vitamin c is marketed as soothing. It's not for me. Going back.

meh, wet & sticky feeling. don't like it.
Compared to Glycolix Elite Eye Serum, this SkinMedica Uplifting Eye Serum is thin, wet, sticky and you can still feel stickyness hours after applying it. I don't really like it. Glycolix Elite Eye Serum is very similar, however thicker and absorbs quickly with no stickyness so you forget about it right away (and the stuff DEFINITELY works! It really made my dark under eye area visibly better looking.) Going back to the Glycolix now.

This Does Not Work For Me
I have extreme puffiness around my eyes and dark circles, too, and this did not work for me at all. It didn't de-puff and it didn't hydrate my eye area. I have extremely sensitive skin, so maybe this is a factor. For whatever reason, I am returning this item. Obviously, not every serum works for everyone.

I've been using this for a week and it seems to temporarily firm the area under my eyes. Bags appear reduced and refreshed but only temporarily so hopefully there will be a cumulative effect.

Love this serum for the immediate effect it seems to have on dark circles and bags. I have been using this for the past year and can't say that I know if it is reducing signs of aging around my eyes, but I definitely see that it shrinks bags and counteracts dark circles!!! It does have a sticky feeling to it when applied, but once it dries it feels fine. I also have very sensitive skin and allergies to products with fragrance in them, but have had no problem with this one.
